These honeycomb tiled panels are excellent quality. Beautiful variation creates interest to the eye. I laid these out to determine the pattern I wanted (purchased a set of 4, which is what comes in one box) and then cut the excess black edging off the outsides. This was relatively easy with a brand new utility knife and gives a cleaner look, but did more than double the project time. They screwed into the ceiling (lath & plaster) through the black felt gaps with no trouble. No damage to the wood. I highly recommend you try these for your space.

I wanted a better background for Zoom meetings and this turned out well. It’s definitely veneer, but it looks fine. The felt backing is thick, firm, and easy to cut with a utility knife. Just take several shallow cuts to get a clean cut. I used four panels. I trimmed the backing away from the outside edges and glued the off cuts to the overhanging parts using liquid nails adhesive. It hangs easily on drywall with the included screws.

Absolutely LOVE these. They are easy to install and look like a million bucks!!! One tip PAINT - if you are painting an adjoining wall, PAINT the wall BEFORE you install the panels. (Like I did with the black wall on the right).
